Purple Sprouting is an independent yarn dyeing studio situated in Ōamaru. We specialise in creating distinctive hand-dyed skeins, offering a variety of designs from playful speckles to elegant variegated and semi-solid colours. Our curated collection of yarn bases includes delicate 2-ply lace weight to sturdy 8-ply/DK weights, showcasing luxurious fibres such as Merino, Bluefaced Leicester, and silk, as well as reliable sock yarns for the comfiest projects.
We also carry a range of tools and notion including ChiaoGoo needles, stitch markers and buttons.
