Nelson Creative Fibre have both day and evening groups:
Day meetings: 2nd and 4th Tuesdays 9:30am to 11:30 am (usually at) Jaycee Rooms, Founders Heritage Park, Nelson.
Evening meetings: 3rd Tuesday from 7pm at The Styx, Wakefield Quay, Nelson
We also have an enthusiastic Weaving Group which meets monthly in the St Luke’s Church Hall. We have a yearly program covering fibre-related subjects of interest to members and we aim to help our members with any problems which arise and stimulate their interest in our craft with sharing of ideas in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Visitors are welcome.
This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month to share knowledge and skill with humour and friendship. We have a mix of ages, and range from beginner to skilled spinners, knitters, felters and dyers.

This group is one of a handful of evening groups available in the Auckland Area. It is easy to get on and off the Northern and North Western Motorways. This group covers all things fibre-related – spinning, weaving, crocheting, knitting, and felting, as well as participating and promoting member projects, group and Area projects. Each member is eager and willing to help each other and all new comers with new skills. All skill sets are welcome.

This group is one of four which own and run the Creative Arts Centre in Balclutha. They run exhibitions, work days, craft crawls, and fashion parades to promote their members’ work. Workshops in the different fibre disciplines are held each year.
