Something for everyone at First Light Fibres – a great array of classes will be on offer for you to take part in. Traders will be coming from all parts of our nation so you can add to your stash! Caterers will be on site to supply the best coffee and cabinet food in town.
Put your creative thinking caps on and enter our exciting challenge. There will be a People’s Choice Award for this.
Demonstrations and taster courses will also be available. Creative Fibre special interest groups will be there, and the AGM will be held.
Gisborne has a lot to offer; Eastwoodhill and Hackfalls arboretums – both of which will be stunning in May; Tirangi Domain (Kaiti Hill) bushwalks; Oneroa beachfront cycle and walkway; stingray feeding; the Botanical Gardens; one of the best farmers’ markets in NZ; Tairawhiti Museum; Okitu Scenic Reserve, The Cook Landing Site National Historic Reserve; Morere Hot Springs; Tolaga Bay Historic Wharf; East Cape Lighthouse; and of course we are the first city to see the sun.
