Blurring the Boundaries: Fashion Design Innovation in Contemporary Knitting

Fairfierld City Museum and Gallery, Sydney.
A showcase of an exciting new generation of national and international artists and designers who explore the ancient art of knitting and whose work blur the boundaries between art, fashion, craft, design and technology. This is a unique landmark exhibition designed to question the eternal debate as to what constitutes the art of dress. The Weaver’s Forum Exhibition

An Inaugural Weavers Forum Prize of $250 will be awarded for "The Best Use of Colour" - also a Complex Weavers Award will be awarded for excellence in weaving a piece, original in both design and execution, with a complex interlacement of threads and fibres beyond plain weave.
