‘You have to give yourself time to play’. Bobbin Cottage, Blenheim. A weekend where we can all work together and learn something new and experiment and come away with maybe a different take on Creative Fibre. Enrolments by 10 September.
We are a Canterbury-based group who get together monthly in Halswell Hall, Christhcurch, to spend the day felting. Felting is a wool craft and we make a wide variety of things from garments to vessels and artwork. We welcome new members and while we don’t run formal classes we can help you learn.
$10 door charge.
Creative Fibre Auckland will be present in the Auckland Heritage Festival for the first time, running an open day called ‘My Grandmother Used to Knit: Celebrating New Zealand’s Fibre Art Heritage’. Information can be found at: www.heritagefestival.co.nz/events.
Thames Creative Fibre invite you to our annual open day. We’ve gone mad for craft – will you join us? Come dressed in your best for a mad hatter’s tea party. Entry $2. There will tea and cake, and raffles and traders to spend your pennies on. Don’t be late for this very important date!
